The new MEGA-CHECK generation sets a new standard in coating thickness measurement. The devices use the most advanced electronic technique. For the first time the measuring probes are fitted up with an own microcontroller which converts the analog probe signals and send them digitized to the control unit. This new technique makes them nearly trouble-free and ensure high precision and reproduceable measurements. The probe cable is connectable from both sides (control unit and probe) and therefore easy to service. In case of a broken cable the device must not be sent back to the manufacturer, the operator can exchange the cable by himself. The new MEGA-CHECK devices have a big, clearly arranged graphic display with backlit. A wide selection of ferrous, non-ferrous and dual probes also of small size can be connected. Worldwide the first dual probe with swinging probe head. Menu selection in several languages. Power supply either by 3 x 1,5 V Mignon batteries or 3 x 1.2 V rechargeable batteries. The MEGA-CHECK devices are of high quality and manufactured exclusively in Germany. With the magnetic induction technique you can measure paint, varnish, plastics and galvanic layers on magnetic steel, while with the eddy current technique all kinds of insulating coatings (paint, varnish, plastics and anodic layers) can be measured on non-ferrous metals.
MEGA-CHECK -PROFI-: The comfortable device with built-in memory and USB interface for those users who prefer easy operation but need to evaluate and document the measured values:   Automatic detection of the base material. USB - Radio Interface. 1 Memory (10.000 readings). 3 calibrations can be stored for different objects.
