Description
The gas pressure regulator type R 101* serves to ensure a constant outlet pressure when the inlet pressure or flow capacity varies.
The gas pressure regulator is primarily used in industrial ovens and similar facilities where a short response time is required.
Function:
The gas flows through the regulator housing in arrow direction. The main diaphragm is actuated via an impulse line from the outlet side by pressure. The required outlet pressure is adjusted at the spring. The measurework is directly mounted and operates independant from the inlet pressure by use of an intermediate diaphragm.

Gas Pressure Regulator type RS 250
With built in safety shut-off valve
Description
The gas pressure regulator type RS 250 serves to ensure a constant outlet pressure when the inlet pressure or flow capacity varies. The gas pressure regulator is primarily used in industrial ovens and similar facilities where a short response time is required. Because of the exclusive use of spring loads, the installation is possible in any position. The safety shutoff valve (SSV) which is built into the same housing interrupts the gas flow at excess pressure or gas shortage. If no SSV is built in the opening of the housing is closed with a cover plate. In this case the type designation is R 250.
Function:
The gas flows through the regulator housing in arrow direction. The main diaphragm is actuated via an impulse line from the outlet side by pressure. The required outlet pressure is adjusted at the spring. The single seat valve is directly mounted and operates independant from the inlet pressure by the compensation diaphragm. The diaphragm of the safety shutoff valve is actuated via an impulse line from the outlet side. When excess pressure or gas shortage lifts or drops the measure work the latch lever reacts and the closing spring presses the valve disc against the valve seat.
Application Example:
Gas train with gas pressure regulator RS and safety blow-off valve SL10

Safety Shut-off Valve type S 50
Description
The safety shutoff valve Type S 50 controls a given gas pressure. It interrupts the gas flow at excess pressure or gas shortage automatically. It may be used as a single safety device or in connection with the gas pressure regulator R 50 as a pressure controlling unit.
Function:
The diaphragm of the safety shutoff valve is actuated via an impulse line from the outlet side. When excess pressure or gas shortage lifts or drops the SSV spindle the latch lever reacts and the closing spring presses the valve disc against the valve seat. Minimum and maximum release pressure are set by adjusting the respective setting screws.
