The WaveAce combines long memory, a color display, extensive measurement capabilities, advanced triggering and excellent connectivity to improve troubleshooting and shorten debug time.
With bandwidths from 40 MHz to 300 MHz, sample rates up to 2 GS/s and waveform memory up to 10 kpts/Ch (20 kpts interleaved) the WaveAce exceeds all expectations of a small affordable oscilloscope.
LeCroy Differential Amplifiers
DC to 100 MHz
The DA1855A is a stand-alone, high-performance 100 MHz differential amplifier. It is intended to act as a signal conditioning preamplifier for oscilloscopes, digitizers and spectrum analyzers, providing differential measurement capability to instruments having only a single-ended input. When used with a DA1855A, oscilloscopes can obtain Common Mode Rejection Ratio (CMRR) and overdrive recovery performance levels previously unobtainable.
Amplifier gain can be set to 1 or 10. A built-in input attenuator can be separately set to attenuate signals by a factor of 10, providing gains of 10, 1, or 0.1 and common mode dynamic range of ± 15.5 V (÷1) or ± 155 V (÷10).
Optional probes increase the maximum input signal and common mode ranges in proportion to their attenuation ratio but do not exceed their maximum input voltage rating. Effective gain of the DA1855A, including probe attenuation, amplifier gain and attenuator settings, is automatically displayed.
LeCroy Differential Probes
Up to 100 MHz
ADP30X high-voltage active differential probes are safe, easy-to-use probes ideally suited for measuring power electronics. The ADP300 is good for troubleshooting low-frequency power devices and other circuits where the reference potential is elevated from ground or the location of ground is unknown. The ADP305 is designed for measuring the high-speed floating voltages found in today's high-speed power electronics.
With the ProBus® interface, the ADP30X becomes an integral part of the oscilloscope. The attenuation, offset, and bandwidth limit are all controlled from the oscilloscope front panel or by using the remote control commands. This means the complete measurement setup can be saved and recalled by the oscilloscope, and all measurement values will be correct. The scope provides power to the probe, so there is no need to worry about a separate power supply or changing batteries.
LeCroy Current Probes
Up to 500 A, up to 100 MHz
LeCroy current probes do not require the breaking of a circuit or the insertion of a shunt to make accurate and reliable current measurements.
Based on a combination of Hall effect and transformer technology, LeCroy current probes are ideal for making accurate AC, DC, and impulse current measurements.
LeCroy Active Probes
zs_probes.pdf
hfp_probes.pdf
Up to 2.5 GHz
The ZS Series probes provide high impedance and an extensive set of probe tips and ground accessories to handle a wide range of probing scenarios. The high 1 MΩ input resistance and low 0.9 pF input capacitance means this probe is ideal for all frequencies. The ZS Series probes provide full system bandwidth with all LeCroy oscilloscopes with bandwidths of 1 GHz and below.
Today’s probes need to be versatile, small, and lightweight while maintaining the necessary bandwidth to capture high-speed signals. As probing points get smaller and closer together, LeCroy’s HFP Series of active probes provide the ability to meet all of your difficult probing challenges.
LeCroy Passive Probes
Up to 500 MHz
Passive probes are the standard probe provided with most oscilloscopes. Typical passive probes provide a 10:1 attenuation and feature a high input resistance of 10 MΩ. This high input resistance means that passive probes are the ideal tool for low frequency signals since circuit loading at these frequencies is minimized. Passive probes are designed to handle voltages of at least 400 V, some as high as 600 V. LeCroy passive probes feature an attenuation sense pin which tells the oscilloscope to scale the waveforms automatically requiring no user input.
High Voltage Probes
Up to 20 kV, up to 400 MHz
The PPE series of probes are suitable for a wide range of applications where high-voltage measurements must be made safely and accurately. There are five fixed-attenuation probes covering a range from 2 kV to 20 kV, and one switchable probe providing ÷10/÷100 attenuation for voltage inputs up to 1.2 kV.
Hybrid circuitry and switch reading for probes with switchable gain/attenuation minimize ringing and overshoot to provide a precise response.
