Welding Plants for Reinforcing Mesh
For the production of reinforcing mesh, our welding systems MG200 and MG300 are used. An extensive range of modules allows us to adapt the level of automation to customer requirements.
System MG200
|
- The System MG 200 plants are processing precut longitudinal and cross wires.
- System MG 200 is ideal for engineered mesh. High flexibility and low conversion time are clear competitive advantages when doing just-in-time production for delivery directly to the construction site.

System MG300
|
- System MG 300 pocesses the wires directly from coil. Straightening of the the wires is part of the process. A plant concept for efficient production of big lots in short time with a minimum of required manpower.

System MG620
|
- Our welding system MG620 Radius produces bow-shaped meshes. Those are used for tubbing segment reinforcement.

System MG630 Tailor
|
- Our welding system MG630 Tailor produces meshes in nearly every imaginable shape.
- Square or round holes are directly calculated into the production process and do not need to be cut out later. This saves time and material. The system is thus ideal for welding reinforcement meshes for the precast industry.
- It is also the perfect solution for producing very small batches of special reinforcement meshes – even a production of batch size 1 is efficient.
- This enables just-in-time production and minimizes storage cost.

Welding plants for industrial mesh
Industrial mesh may be used to produce shop-, exhibition- and warehouse equipment as well as trays for domestic appliances.
Flat meshes used as gratings, baskets or cages are typical products made out of industrial mesh. Also, shopping carts, shopping baskets, goods displays, shelves and trays in refrigerators, stoves and dishwashers are typical products using industrial mesh.
For producing round or three-dimensional mesh products, we offer our System Posiweld welding plants.
System MG900
|
- The plant concept of our System MG 900 encompasses the large range of industrial mesh products, from filigree bird cages to heavy security fences with welded upper and lower cross wires.

Wire straightening and cutting machines
Our Syrocut and Rotocut straightening systems are used for straightening and cutting wires to the required straightening quality and length.
Both systems are designed for integration to aou mesh welding plants as well as for stand-alone straightening sations.
System Syrocut
|
- The System Syrocut is best used for smaller wire diameters from 3mm upwards.
- The System Syrocut can be fully integrated into our mesh welding plants.

MeshStudio
Design your mesh the easy way
The Schlatter MeshStudio ia a 3 dimensional drawing program for welded wire mesh with multiple additional functions. It is used by wire mesh producers.
The MeshStudio standardizes the interchange of mesh data between customer, producer and Schlatter mesh welding plant.
Versions
Easy basic version
You may draw your meshes quickly and easily. You will see the result in a three dimensional presentation. It can be turned and tilted into any position.
Professional version
With the professional version the mesh data can be transmited directly to the Schlatter mesh welding plant. The integrated welding expert will suggest the setting data for welding the designed mesh. It also calculates the material requirements for a specified lot size.
Enterprise version
With the enterprise version you will have a centralized mesh data management in a data base. Search routines allow to search within the data base by all characteristics.

Rail welding systems
In the profile welding market segment we focus on designing plants for welding rails and switch tongues and other heavy profiles.
The range of welding systems covers stationary and mobile rail welding machines and heavy flash butt welders.
Stationary rail welding machines
|
- The stationary rail welding plant GAAS80 is designed for joining short rails to long rails.
|
|
|
|
- The heavy profile welder GAA100 is designed for joining different materials within railway switches
Download stationary profile welders brochure: EN, DE, FR
|
Mobile rail welding machine type AMS60
|
- The AMS60 type reaches almost the same accuracy of alignment quality as the world-famous stationary machine type GAAS80. This makes it ideal for operation within high-speed tracks.

|
Mobile rail welding machine AMS100
|
- In addition to the AMS60, which has been on the market for many years, Schlatter Industries AG recently developed the new mobile welder AMS100.
- It is of simpler design than the AMS60, but it offers a higher welding force.
- This makes the AMS100 better suited for welding bigger rail profiles designed for heavier axle loads.

Radiator Welding Systems
Schlatter once developped the first plants for fabricating radiators. Thus we essentially influenced how radiators look like today.
Welding plants for the production of panel radiators
|
- The popularity of panel radiators increased dramatically at the end of the 1960s. A good 85 % of the production lines in operation are made by Schlatter.
