Various wound products
We are specialized in winding of components using other than standard cores.
For air-core coils we use self-adhesive wire and apply the latest in winding-machine technology. The smallest wire size is 0.04 mm. High-power wound components are made of copper foil, copper sheet, copper rod or profile wire.

Encapsulated transformers
KKM transformers are made of toroidal transformers (except the size of 50 VA). This is why they are space saving and very silent.
Transformers are used as safety isolating transformers and isolating transformers. 12 V transformers are used for halogen lamps.
Transformers are manufactured according the EN60742 standard and they have FIMKO, SEMKO and NEMKO approval.
The enclosure is made of Euro-grey plastic. Thanks to the beautiful design they can be installed to a visible place.
According to the structure, transformers can be either stationary or semi-stationary mounted. Mounting screws (wood or other soft material) of the enclosure are included in delivery.

SINGLE AND THREE PHASE
AC AND DC CHOKES, REACTORS
General specifications of the chokes
The choke types are iron core or air core. The benefits of the iron core chokes are small dimensions and low magnetic stray field.
The basic design equals the design of single and three phase transformers. Common choke types and applications are:
- Suppression reactors for direct current
- Serial and commutation chokes
- Filtering chokes, band-rejection chokes and suppression chokes for harmonics
- Chokes for generation of reactive power
If other types are required, please contact our technical sales department.
The following information is essential for design:
- Inductance
- Frequency
- RMS value of the current (instantaneous RMS value peaks)
- Voltage level
- AC or DC choke. If DC, the value and frequency of the AC component are needed

HARMONIC CIRCUIT FILTER REACTORS
Power Quality disturbances and Harmonic distortion are today`s problems in Electrical Systems. The harmonic distortion and High Frequency interferences are caused by variable speed drives, soft starters, rectifiers, welding devices, UPS, discharge lamps etc… These disturbances may further affect sensitive loads connected to the same power source. Harmonic voltage distortion also causes several other problems: motor damages, over-heating of cables and transformers etc…
The reactor minimizes harmonic current through the capacitor bank and reduces losses in the capacitors. With the reactor the operation lifetime of capacitors will be increased. Harmonic Filters are used to eliminate Harmonics and High Frequency disturbances. The attenuation of a filter unit depends on Harmonic Frequency and network properties. The filter unit will provide some power factor correction at the 50 Hz line frequency. Filter reactors and capacitors are tuned to frequency close to the harmonic frequency. The most common resonance frequency is 189 Hz and the filtering factor 7%.

Medical isolation transformers
Medical isolation transformers are designed with reinforced isolation and they have very low leakage current between input and output circuits. When measured in no load condition and the transformer supplied at rated voltage and rated frequency, the leakage current does not exceed 0,5mA. Between input and output windings there is a static shield.
The transformers are designed to meet standards IEC 61558-2-15, IEC 60742, EN 60601-1, EN 60742 and EN 61558-2-15.
In a transformer supplying medical locations the isolation of the output circuit has to be monitored by Line Isolation Monitoring system (LIM). Option: Monitoring of over current and temperature with thermal sensor and protection relay.
Models:
- Line isolation monitoring (LIM)
- Residual current monitoring (RCM)
