1939
Dr. Werner Thiedig founds the company Dr. Thiedig + Co in Berlin (Kreuzberg). The father of the current managing partner Hans-Jürgen Thiedig develops with a tremendous amount of technical talent, ideas and inventive genius, technical instruments such as high pressure dosage pumps, high pressure appliances, high pressure valves, reciprocating compressor, microscopes and laboratory equipment.
1954
Development of modern sampling systems in co-operation with the VGB (Vereinigung der Großkraftwerkbetreiber) and the German power plant industry (Siemens, BBC (Brown Bovery Corporation), Hartmann & Braun).
1956
Taking over of licence manufacture for oxygen analysers for Hartmann & Braun according to a patent of the German Bundesanstalt für Materialprüfung (Federal material-testing institute) (Prof. Toedt, Dr. Teske). Constant further development of the analysers Elcoflux for trace oxygen in gas and Oxyflux for trace oxygen in boiler feed water.
1967
Death of the founder Dr. Werner Thiedig. His sons Hans-Jürgen Thiedig and Bernd Thiedig take over the company with new ideas.
1984
Move to the new company premises at Prinzenalle 78-79 in Berlin (Wedding). The industrial listed building, built in 1928 by Bruno Buch, satisfies the increased demands of an expanding company.
